If They're Gone... Campaign 2013

On Monday 4th March 2013 the campaign, "If They're Gone …. " will be launched by Defra to increase public awareness of the plight facing four endangered species, including rhino and elephant. Tusk is collaborating with Defra on this initiative, encouraging everyone to find out more about the issue of illegal poaching and the threatened extinction of elephant and rhino.

The campaign also covers the issue of habitat loss and encourages the public to find out more about the actions individuals can take to reduce the threat of extinction for these iconic species. Defra aims to bring together the work of government, wildlife NGO’s, zoos/safari parks and to show that everyone can contribute to their survival.
