On Wednesday 5th December, Tusk will be part of ICAP's 20th Annual Charity Day, the biggest single fundraising event in the City of London

30 November 2012

On this one day, ICAP, the world’s leading interdealer broker and provider of post trade risk and information services, will give away all its revenue and commissions to charity. Last year, £12.75 million was raised globally. In this celebratory year, ICAP hope to break the £100 million milestone raised for charities since the inception of this fundraising event in 1993. The impact has been huge. ICAP has raised over £89.3m to date and this year over 63 offices in the ICAP group are taking part to support 200 charities.

Tusk is thrilled to be one of ICAP’s chosen charities, celebrating the 20th anniversary of the ICAP Charity Day. Funds raised by ICAP for Tusk will support a number of community-driven conservancies established in Northern Kenya to simultaneously protect wildlife and alleviate poverty amongst rural communities. The donation will also fund environmental education camps for orphans and vulnerable children at Mokolodi in Botswana and enable Tusk to translate its acclaimed PACE education programme into French for use in francophone Africa.

Many thanks for the kind support from the following organisations who have contributed auction prizes which will help raise funds for Tusk in tomorrow's silent auction for ICAP staff members and clients.
