Tusk Modern 2012
The second Modern Art Auction in aid of Tusk was held on Wednesday 28th November in the glitzy surroundings of The Hippodrome in London's Leicester Square, recently reopened following a major refit.
The event was organised by the Westbrook Gallery in conjunction with Tusk and benefitted from the kind sponsorship of Deutsche Bank, Bonhams, Drambuie, John Jones Framing, Zonin Wines,The White Wall Company, Martinspeed, artnet, The Hippodrome and Chris Jackson of Getty Images.
Exciting works of art went under the hammer of the energetic Charlie Thomas from Bonhams who encouraged the bidding from the outset. The auction featured a wide range of renowned artists including Sir Peter Blake, Tracey Emin, Maggi Hambling, Pure Evil, Pablo Picasso, Henri Matisse, Joan Miro and Norman Parkinson.
